Happy Birthday Savannah

Hello Friends

Before I go on, I wish to wish you all a Happy, Healthy and Crafty New Year to you all.  I hope you all had a wonderful New Year celebration.  Mr Hettie and I went to a Hogmanay in Cardiff and I was able to dance the night away with some very special friends!  I also had the opportunity to meet up with some friends from long ago who I haven't seen for some time!

I also want to take this opportunity to welcome two new Followers who have joined me recently - Samantha and Kimbo. Thanks so much for joining me!

Right then, onto today's post.  It is my friend Rachel's youngest daughter's 1st birthday today and here is the card I made for her......

I intend to use a strong box which I snaffled from work, which I have full of Snippets, stamped images and elements I have collected over the years this year and this little card was the start of it.  The stamped image is a stamp I had made and coloured with Copics some time ago, the Happy Birthday paper and blue cardstock were from my Snippets boxes (only three now, this time last year I had six!!) and the daisies were out of the strong box.  The brad I have had for such a long time!  So I can share this with the Playground - Woo Hoo!  The sun has been shining today so hopefully we can go on the swings now!!

As I am typing this we are watching Mr Hettie's Christmas pressie - Pie in the Sky!  I now want a new Chook House for the Playground and am thinking of playing Elgar to the girls to see if mine will start laying again!!

See ya soon.

Hugs
xx

I am about to have a mahoosive clear up and put things away in drawers instead of piled up everywhere. Dread to think how manay drawers are gonna be taken up with snippets. That is one gorgeous name Savannah. Am I seeing things or are there little white dots falling down your page.
After the day I just had I wouldn't be suprised at anything!!

You have done well to have used up 3 boxes of snippets...and this card has used up some more...well done you!

The flower is a pretty one...did you make it yourself?

I have all those square jars full of flowers...most of which some would say, are dated looking. This year I am going to make lots of cards that use up those flowers. I may rebuild them into different layers...anything to get some used up!

Lovely card Sam - perfect for a little one! And you had that gorgeous stamp actually Made? Or did I read you wrongly?

Am stunned that your snippets have gone down so much - well done, hope you don't get rid of them all ever 'cos we need your ideas on how to cause me maximum angst in the Playground :)

Hugs, Di xx
