Sweetie Sleighs...

Hello Friends

Before the Christmas season leaves us for another few months, (or weeks) I thought I would share a picture of some little sweetie presents I made for various (young and old) members of the family and friends....

I got the idea and instructions from Jozart and thought they were so sweet! (Yep - pun intended).  The bases are chocolate bars which I have covered in Snippets of Christmas paper.  The runners are candy canes.  I adhered chocolate coins together to make a stack and then adhered Santa to the stack of coins.  All were then wrapped in cellophane and tied with a bow! I have a few left over so I will be taking them into the Playground later.  Can someone please save me a candy cane as I seem to have a bad reaction with chocolates lately :-(

Simples!  Thanks Jo for the inspiration!

Heh Hettie, love these sweet sleighs, a totally brilliant idea!

Sorry to hear of your bad reaction to chocolate, not a huge fan myself (honestly) but like some sometimes, usually in private lol

Have a great Thursday xxx

They are a great idea! Shame about your reaction to choc. I haven't eaten any over Christmas - very unusual for me. Happy New Year Sam. x Jo

Another of Jo's great ideas hey. I used mine as table setting on Christmas Day (picture on yesterday's WOYWW). Have been using up the left-over candy canes today - eating them LOL.

Don't they look so professional all wrapped in cellophane?!? Well done to you! Thanks so much for the shout out too!
your candy canes are a lot nicer than mine which were only white and pink.

Such cute sleighs - and I love'em all festive in their glossy wrappings.

Enjoy your candy canes... you'll need them if you're going to be chocolate deprived! Have you tried raw chocolate - amazing stuff... might save the day if you've developed some sort of reaction to the normal stuff.

This is a fab idea, pity I have to wait all year to use it now!
If your reaction to chocolate Relates to your digestive area then I have the same thing, and found I am ok as long as I eat it before 7.30pm!
