Some People are So Generous - Scrap Yard Box

Ahoy Peeps

I have been blogging a little over a year now, and since I started this blogging lark I have met a whole load of really lovely people.  Most I have not met physically but I did meet a few of you last year at The Stamp Attic.  

However, I have come to learn how many of you bloggers are so generous by way of time, tips, tutorials, as well as some beautiful gifts.  

One such blogging friend is Kate of The Scrap Yard. We have been following each other for quite some time now and have been known to send each other the odd e-mail, but last week I had a wonderful surprise from Kate. Here, I will show you.....

Isn't this box just awesome?  The photographs really do not do the box justice.  Though, look at that sunshine streaming through my window yesterday morning!

And how about this for the inside of the lid!!  A box full of awesomeness.

And then there is inside the actual box.....Goodies galore!

And then a beautiful little matching ATC, as well as a card which I forgot to photograph but I assure you it is gorgeous.

Now I am going to make Kate an ATC as a Thank You and hope Kate likes it almost as much as I love the box and ATC.  

In case you are wondering about the size of the box, it is an up cycled brie/Camembert box, with lovely skeleton leaves attached around the outside edge.

A beautiful box from a wonderful blogger.  Thank you so much Kate.  Such perfect colours to go in our Guest Room just as soon as we finish decorating it!!

WOYWW 129 - A Haaandbaarg!!!

Sorry guys - I was trying to say it like in The Importance of Being Ernest!!

Happy .... Hump Day or WOYWW or Wednesday whichever you would like it to be.  Today's the day when a lorra Crafters show off their desks on their blogs and all link in to the Desk Jockey - Julia Dunnit.

BTW - when Mandy was up at the weekend, she reminded me where I got this lovely stamp from, it was Hobbycraft and it was half price!  Now I know why I really like it!!  If you are lucky you might be able to get one. 

The lickle handbags are little gift bags in the making for my Craft Fairs which are only next week - eeeeeeek!  These I just have to put some velcro spots on the flaps and add a decoration of some sort on to the fronts.  There are little gift tags hanging from each of them, which you cannot see from here.

If you take a look at the last few posts you can see some of the other stuff I have made.  On the left corner of my desk I have some more pillow boxes cut out ready to put together as well as some more of the little square cubes which need to be stamped, acetate windows put in and then assembled.  For the assembling you need at least three if not four hands.  Monkey has tried but he has no working thumbs!!

I am really starting to panic about the Craft Fairs as I do not have many cards ready yet but hopefully by the weekend I will have finished the boxes so I can sit down just to do cards.

Off to work, Dancing and then I will try and catch up with you all later today or in the week.
