Hello Bloggers
It is a dear friend of mine's birthday coming up this weekand I am hoping she doesn't happen to see this before the day.
I went to a Craft Outlet shop which has recently opened up near my home, last Sunday and did not come back empty handed. Well, you didn't think I would did you? It would be soooo rude not to buy anything! They had quite a few Inkadinkado stamps (wooden too - my favourite) and this was one of them.
Before the car had even cooled down from the drive home, I was in my craft room inking my ink applicators and my new stamp.
Very simple to do. I used two inks (Dusky concord and Broken China DI) to make the background making a mask out of a 5x7 card and placing over the top of another card and adhering with removable adhesive. Once I was happy with the background I inked up the stamp with the same two colours, a little Black Soot, Forest Moss and Peeled paint DIs. A spritz of the wet stuff and stamped the card. I put some more ink on and stamped the envelope. I got my favourite Happy Birthday stamp (Penny Black of course) and inked that up with dusky concord as well as the sentiment inside (which I forgot to photograph but it was another Penny Black).
The guys over at the Allsorts are asking to see us Bloom this week (in this weather?!) so I shall be entering it in to the Challenge. My first time in that challenge.
Hope you like and I hope my friend likes it too. Don't forget to let me know what you think by signing in the visitor's book please. I do like to pop over to see you!

I have always loved this stamp! Yay for you, getting this beauty. I love how you dressed it up in these cool colors.
And yes, would you please send some rain to the East Coast of the US? I'd love it, thank you!
I love hydrangeas, they are my favourite flower and can never resist an image or stamp with them on. You are so lucky I didn't get to the craft outlet before you lol. Oh by the way where is the craft outlet, may have to pop in for a visit. Gorgeous card and you have certainly inspired me to get all inky. Hugs, Amanda x

The Craft Outlet is in Ebbw Vale. Not quite sure where you are but it you are going, let me know and I will join you for a coffee!
Lovely inkiness going on here hon. Pretty flower! Deffo rude not to buy anything from a new craft shop xxx
Very pretty, I have that stamp too, think I've only used it once! You could also enter this at Penny Black and More @ Allsorts this month too, you don't have to use a PB stamp.
