Snippets cards

Hello There

Oops!  Sorry I have been away from the Blogging World this weekend, but I have been a bit of a busy bee in my absence!  I went to my Buddy's on Saturday for a scrapbooking session and then yesterday I had a bit of a clearing spree.  I wanted to get two very large cupboards thinned out enough so that I only had one cupboard and the empty one can be converted into a wardrobe in the guest room.  Once that task was achieved I then moved into my Craft Room and cleared some crap stuff so I can get things off the floor and generally make life a little easier for me.  Hubby better watch out or I shall move onto his sheds next!

So here I am again all geared up to start the week off with some Snippets cards to share with you.....

I want to restart my card shop in work again as a few people have asked me for cards and I don't have any here in my tin so my plan is when I need a card I will make one for the recipient, one for my box and one for my work tin.  Only here I made four as I have two birthdays in quick succession.

I used some very old stamps which I inked with DI and then stickled over the top of before mounting on some Snippets of silver card, chomping all corners with my Memory Keepers chomper.  I also used a variety of embossing folders and some VOS velum which I have run through the folders after cutting with a X Cut die.  Some snippets of ribbon which came out of the Snippets basket and some mesh which a kind hearted friend gave to me.
I cut some tags and stamped with Hero Arts stamp.

There you have it, four cards for me to take to the Snippets Playground.

Thanks for popping over.  I shall be calling by very soon so make sure your rooms are tidy!

Hettie

Great cards Sam! And you sure have been a busy bee - you can hop over here anytime as my desk is well on its way to being tidied, stuff put back where it belongs - and I can actually see spare spaces to work on - wahoo!

Hugs, Di xx

That is a good philosophy, to double up when you do a card. I will just settle at the moment for sorting out my room and finding 6 inches of space to work in. To quote Barbara Gray "I have a plan". Thank you for your visit. I do all my heavy shopping online, but I do try to ensure that as much as possible is British. Then my fruit and veg come from the local farm shops around Evesham (gives the car an run and me a different view) and my meat comes from a proper local butcher, who sources everything as local as possible and only the best quality. Have a good week, Sam. xx Maggie

Brilliant cards Sam, the backgrounds are brilliant. I am a sucker for swirls but never seem to use them.

Fab snippet use and I love that swirl, am a bit of a sucker for them myself. Can you come and organise my stash next please? I know I've got to do it and have made a little start but there is so much still to go through! Well done on clearing one of your cupboards x

Very neat cards. I like that they are similar but not exact. Great use of snippets too. I have to applaud your efforts at your cleaning frenzy. It sounds like you were very productive!

Wowsers, What a great idea to make one, keep one. You're off to a good start with this haul too. Each one is different, yet so very pretty. I'm liking the stickles over your stamping, and the use of your VOS vellum. I have to remember to use that. Never think of it..and it's so pretty. TFS & good luck with your goals. I need you to come 'crost the pond and help me clear out a bunch of 'stuff'. Hugs

That is an admirable goal and soon your work card box will be full.
Your card design is lovely...that mesh lacey looking piece is so pretty and the florish stamp looks great.

I think so many have jumped on our VOS/NBUS bandwagon to use up stash. All over blogworld I see people trying out stash for the first time...What fun!!!
