Thank you for the Invite...

Hello there

I haven't been up to playing in my craft room of late but I have a few projects in the draft section that I have not shared with you before.  It is similar to the card I made for my friend Ann, that is because I made it around the same time.  I used my Tonic dies but a different set this time.  This was its first outing so an NBUS.

I covered the card base with the lilac card, chomped the corners and stamped them with Archival ink using my SU set.

I took the pale blue card and run it through with the Tonic dies and then inked around the edges and layered it up.
I added some ribbon to the bottom....
Some butterflies and some pearls...
and a matching envelope!

I know the recipient liked it...phew!

Sorry I have not been around much...still coughing for Wales and our internet is flaky these days.

Simon Says Stamp is looking for things that fly this week so I am fluttering by with the butterflies.

Love the colour you have used here a great contrast to the white and the stamping in the corners adds that extra bit of elegance.

Funny a couple of weeks ago I was coughing for England. Hope yours clears up soon.

Your card and matching envelope are just gorgeous! I love the rich colors and beautiful die cuts and especially how you tucked the sentiment safely inside the center!

Oh no ... I went down with the cough too, after a really horrible heavy cold - it's taking me a long time to get back up and running. Do hope you feel better soon.

Love this elegant card - the delicate white cuts are so pretty against the lavender card, and I love the corner flourishes echoed from card to envelope - delightful.

Oh gosh...this is so pretty! I love all your gorgeous dies and stamping. The envelope looks superb as well.

I have something held at the actual post office. I got a card to go and pick it up. Perhaps because I asked for nothing to be bent and shovelled into
the mail box.
The mail boxes here are super boxes. They are installing new, larger ones with extra width and length. The other streets in the neighbourhood all have them so we should be next methinks. Once we have that, then most things will fit in the box safely!

Will go down to the post office on Tuesday. I have made that my day to go out for shopping and errands as Al golfs Tuesdays and Fridays.
