Sending a hug....

Hello Friends

A Special Friend of mine is feeling a little down at the moment and I wanted to send her a hug so I made her this card.....

I do so love this style of card and am grateful to a lovely Bloggie Buddy for passing on the deets of how to make them.  I used my Forever Friends stamp and coloured it with Copics.  I used some more of my Snippets, my SU tag punch and stamp set with Seedless Preserves DI (can you tell I love this ink at all?).  The butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch with some Seedless Preserves ink which I just wiped on the cardstock before punching.  The "With Love" embellishment is one that I have had for ages, and which I am trying to use up.

Short and sweet.   Off to find some blue wool to make another scarf for a Chrissie pressie, having taken a peek over at the Playground as I just spotted something to look at!  Need to put my wellies on first!

P.S.  Rachel, Sandra and I are going Puddle Jumping in the Playground if anyone wants to join us you are more then welcome!

So very pretty.
I have never made that type of fold or any thing other than a standard fold! I am soooo boring, I know!!!

I have been collecting recipe's for these folds and planto make 2013 the year of trying new things!!!

This little image is so sweet...I am sure your friend just loved it.

Back again...
I know you sent it already...I meant I have been collecting 5 or 6 different ones altogether and there is no excuse in the New Year for me not to try some of these special delights. Yours looks so great!

Hi Sam

Great use of your snippets.

I love this shape of card and I love purple too .. .. so an all round winner for me.

So much rain at the moment that I think we won't be able to puddle jump .. .. it could be a case of paddling now. The ducks will be well happy!

Love Jules xx

Fantastic card there Sam - love the shape of course and am really getting to love purple - super!

Forget the wellies, just bring your cossie for a swim - the playground looks flooded to me. Ha, ha - images of little heads bobbing round trying to stay above water :))

Hugs, Di xx
