Chicken Card for Chook Man - Snippets

Good Evening Peeps

I hope you have had a good weekend.  I spent yesterday with my Hubby celebrating his birthday as he will be working on nights tomorrow. He wanted some beekeeping sort of stuff for his birthday so we went to Maisemore to buy it.  As it was not too far from Stroud my lovely Hubby took a detour so that I could pop into Paperarts.  Bless 'im.  I picked up some new My Minds Eye papers and some other bits 'n pieces so expect to see them appear on here son.

Today I have been playing in my lovely new greenhouse.  It is not technically "new" but it is certainly new to me, not having had a greenhouse before.  I have been sowing some seeds and in the sun it was certainly nice and cosy in there!

Here we are on a Sunday evening and I have made a birthday card for my lovely Hubby for his birthday tomorrow, and the card is from, yes, you have guessed it - the Chickens!!  Very silly I know but hey-ho!  He is worth it!!  Hope you like it...

To boot, this card means some more paper out of the Snippet box!  Woo Hoo!  You should see how much is in the box!!    A nice early visit to the Playground for me this week and Yes, I know it isn't Friday yet!!

If you saw my post yesterday, I am pleased to report that Hubby loved the "Album" and I will be able to share it with you all tomorrow. I want to photograph it in the daylight in the morning.

Hope you have all had a good weekend.

Please leave me a comment so I know you have been to see me!

Hugs

Hettie

Edit:  P.S.  Following a complaint from someone about the colour of my text, I have had to come in and change the colour.  Hope you approve!!

What a cute card! What a fabulous hubby to take you to the craft store on his birthday shopping spree! He sounds like a keeper. Looking forward to seeing that album tomorrow!

Fabby card my 'chooky' friend :) Love the chickens and the papers - super flowers too, bet hubby loved it. I did smile at Kate's comment, he certainly is a keeper - a 'beekeeper' by the sound of it. How good of him to take you craft shopping - and am fascinated about the beekeeping. Are you going to bring some to 'show and tell' then? :) Ha, ha - there would be some scampering for the playground gates if you did!

Have a lovely day - sun shining here so the swings are dry......for now at least!

Your card is adorable! I love the chicken stamps! And the fact you have used "snippets" to make it! I will check out the Snippet Playground as you suggested!
