T on Tuesday...T Stands for err...

Hello there Peeps!

I am late for the Tea on Tuesday with my friend Elizabeth and Bleubeard.  Unfortunately I only finished this project yesterday and the light was no good for taking photos so I had to take them this morning.  Being the first Tuesday back after Bank Holiday it was hard to get up early enough!

So here is my cuppa...

In case you didn't know, I am a huge fan of NCIS, or should I say Leroy Jethro Gibbs.  What I wouldn't do to be left in an interview room with him!

Anyhoo...moving on!  The book that is next to my mug is another leaving book for one of the girls in work.  She is leaving the firm after being there since she was 16...36 years!  I was asked to make a book for her, which I said yes, then had to think of a theme.  Well, she likes my chicken cards, the last one she had was framed, so I decided it would be a chicken themed book.

So far all the girls who have signed it have told me they like it...phew!

I have used a mixture of goodies in this.  My Mind's Eye, Crafty Individuals, Stampin Up, Artemio, Penny Black, Tim Holtz, Bazzill, Memento, Papermania, Inkadinkado, WOW embossing powder and of course Snippets!  so off to the Playground I will run!  The flowers on the front were all in my Snippets tin - hurrah!

Thanks for calling by.  Don't forget to call by Elizabeth's for a cuppa.

I'm a Gibbs fan, too. Too bad he's not available, right Hettie? And I never miss NCIS. I can see why it's the #1 tv show, at least in the US. My theory is, it appeals to all ages, from Abby (who is actually in her 40s, and Tim, to Ducky, who I'm sure the "bow-tie generation" adore.

That is a super book. You do such lovely work. And I know that gals at the crop got a kick out of seeing the Christmas one that you made.

So, is that asterisk for a reason (grin, grin, wink, wink)? Bleubeard's been telling me all day not to forget mine tonight.

Thanks for sharing this book AND your fabulous mug with us for T today. After all, it's still early Tuesday afternoon in my world.

I don't watch that show so I wondered who was Leroy Jethro Gibbs? I had to google him. Now if you had said Mark Harmon...I would have known and instantly agreed with you--LOL! I wonder if I can find that show in Netflix streaming...hummm...
Happy T-Day and I love the little chicken book!! :)

Monday was a holiday (Memorial Day) here, too, so I also had a little trouble getting going today.

Your chicken book turned out so cute, and it will make a super keepsake for your coworker who is leaving.

Happy T Day!

Golly, 36 years with the same company... that really is worthy of commemoration. And I absolutely love the funky mini album you've created. The colours on the cover are wonderful, and I adore those chickens. I love the fresh, simple stamping on the inside (another fab photo collage of the interior - very clever!) - an absolute treat altogether!

Oh, and I forgot to say - yes, I enjoy NCIS when I catch it - but for me he'll always be CJ's wonderful bodyguard in West Wing - head over heels in love with him and then... No, I won't spoil it, in case you haven't seen it! But very worthy of your affections!!

What a delightful chicken card, and your friend is going to look at this and smile. Think of you each time she sees it anew, and remember the fun days you had while working together. So very cute, and so much your signature style. I LOVE it! TFS & Hugs
