Oo la lah!!

Hello there

How are we all doing?  I hope you have not been washed away with all this rain we have had in the last two days.  My wellies are wearing out and I will need to ask Santa for a new pair for Christmas!

I wanted to show you a card I made for my niece recently for her birthday.  As you can tell from the photos it was a beautiful sunny morning when I took the photos before handing it to my sister for when she returned home from Geneva.....

Lots of stencilling, inking, stamping, die cutting, spritzing, flicking and embellies....

The Eiffel Tower is a new die which I bought some time ago in a sale..

I inked up a Snippet to make the sentiment here...

Aren't these embellies gorgeous?  The key is a Kaisercraft one which again was NBUS bought for me as a birthday pressie - MWAH - you know who you are....

The lower one is a TH embellie bought eons ago!

And of course I needed an envelope that would take the tower...

......courtesy of my We R Memory Keepers board.

Off to join in the fun in the Snippets Playground.  Got me souwester on and my wellies...who wants to come puddle jumping with me?

Hugs

Hettie

That is a truly gorgeous card! Love all the ink, ink blending and gorgous stamping. Then you top it off with the beautiful embellishments. You are a Queen of how to bring different elements together to create a beautiful and cohesive look. Love this card and I bet your niece will too Karen x

I bet your niece was delighted with it; and quite rightly so, it's a stunning birthday card. And the envelope is ever so pretty; I bet she keeps them for ever :D
ps - we have duck weather here too today, and it's set to continue so I hear.
Quaa-ck!

Fabulous card Sam! So much beautiful detail and it really does capture the spirit of Paris perfectly! Err, I wouldn't venture into the Playground without a canoe right now - the duckpond has overflowed and flooded the place! Non stop rain here too :(

This is absolutely stunning. I just love the colours, peachy and warm in the sunshine, and the fabulous white text shines through. Great embellishing too - this will go down a treat, I've no doubt at all.

I think your previous owner sounds highly suspect... those floorboards sound as though they need investigating! Do you think they're leftover shards of coffin wood?!?!

So gorgeously elegant and I love all that stamping and stencilling and those warm colours you worked with plus the most perfect embellishments - I say lucky niece to have such a talented Auntie to be creating such beauties for her birthday!
Must say, we have had some nice sunny days although a distinct Autumnal nip in the air but really, days that have been better than many a summer day when it rained constantly. I am sure Santa will bring you a new pair of wellies, of course, that is only if you are not on the naughty list ..... cheeky LOL.
