WOYWW 192 - Ink and Beer!

Hello Friends

Today is Wednesday and in the Blogging Crafting World this means the largest international blog hop going with the lovely Julia of WOYWW fame!  Click HERE or use the button on my side bar to get to Julia's blog.

Here is my desk as it was late last night.  Complete with Distress Inks and before any of you ask/comment - YES that is a glass of BEER!!  Perfick!  I cannot show you the card I was working on as it is for a friend and in case she pops over, I want to avoid her seeing it!

Thanks for popping over.  I will call when I can as I have work then dancing tonight, but I will call!

Hettie

xx

PS  For those lovely ladies and gents who are going to The Crop II, can I ask a favour please?  A friend of mine is collecting plastic drink bottle tops (e.g. milk caps) for a local family who's three year old daughter needs specialist treatment for Cerebral Palsy, here in the UK. The NHS is doing their best but she needs intense treatment in block sessions which cannot be done by NHS.  If you could possibly collect the tops, wash them and bring them to the Crop, I will happily take them off your hands.  Thanks xx

ooh, Sam hope you have lots of Milk tops then!!

Guess too far to send them form Oz and guess too they may not work but I will pray for that little one:

(dear Lord, may this precious three year old have all the treatment required and healing blessing in the process please, dear Heavenly Father, you understand the ache of a father and mother's heart in all this, so we plead for mercy in your dear Son's Jesus name, Amen)

.. now to desk.. must say monkey is not quite sure whether he will end up with ink over his jumper again.. looks excited by all that inky fun!! Shaz in Oz.x no number yet...

Just don't get the beer and inks mixed up or you'll have a real problem!!! And very 'interesting' lipstick :)
I will start saving the bottle tops from now on. I used to do it for someone before and when it stopped, it felt dreadful just putting them into recycling!
And you know what you can do with your zip, don't you..... :) lol
Hugs, LLJ 45 xx

Hi Sam

Lots of great goodies on your desk .. .. it looks a hive of activity.

Personally I wouldn't bother with the beer. I'm not a fan unless it is summer and even then I would drown it with lemonade.

Now G&T .. .. that's another story!! LOL!!!

Have a good day.

Love Jules xx

Inks and Beer...yes please, sounds perfect although I'll have a drop of lemonade in my beer please!!!
I'll get saving those bottle tops. I was saving them for another friend awhile ago for a similar cause and had loads but she's taken them off my hands. I shall start a new collection for you.

I've done wine, hard cider and margaritas while crafting, but never beer. LOL

Hope you get a chance to check out my blog and desk.
Have a great day.

Ink and beer! Well I'm sure you'd get some interesting effects and it would add a certain aroma to your project, but I guess you'd rather drink it! Have a good week. Take care Zo xx 76

ooh look..we were even using the same colour DInks! Mind, you can't tell that because I don't label the edges of mine and I only have one applicator thingy and whatever you produced will be a 100 times nicer than the muck I ended up with! Talking of muck..ugh, tried very hard over the years but have never been able to acquire a taste for beer.
Crop requests - bring 'em on..it's too good a chance to miss..will start saving myself, of course.

Mines a cider drink rather than a lager drink, bottoms up girlie!

Certainly a busy desk, should keep you out of mischief .;)

I can't drink beer, on a gluten free diet, enjoy yours.
I havn't tried those distress inks or using applicators like that yet. What they like?
