WOYWW 96!

Hello Fellow Crafters

Can you believe another week has just flown by and we are now in April?  Cor Blimey Gov'ner!!!  I don't know whether it is my age or whether the weeks really are getting quicker these days!

I am here again showing you my desk due to Ms Dunnit and her round the world tour of blogging crafting desks!  Click HERE and you will be whisked to Ms Dunnit's blog so you can figure out what I am talking about!

Here is my desk as it stands at the moment!  What a mess!  I have decided that it is about time I tackled the issue of too much scrappey paper in the scrappey paper tin.  I have to confess that this is not the only scrap box I have in my possession. (Woops!).  The card selection in work has gone down so it is time I made some more cards so that I can get some pennies ready for the next "Event" whatever/wherever that may be.

I have also pulled out all the freebie stamps received from Craft Stamper magazines to use them too!!  You may notice a little book of stamps which is on my desk.  If you give me a week or so I will be making a new book as mine are getting full and will show you how I make these books from scratch!  Please feel free to join me then.  I will give you a firmer date towards the end of this week.

I also need to make another confession, seeing as I am on a roll, it is not actually Wednesday as I am typing this up.  It is actually Tuesday and I am hoping this timer thingey on this blog will work.  At the time you are reading this I am (hopefully) undergoing long awaited surgery on my poorly baddy knee! (Hurrah Hurrah!!!)  I am now going to be off work for a minimum of two weeks in the house unable to drive.  Hence, plenty of time to just sit and make cards don't you think!!!  I was always told that idle hands is the work of the devil!!!!

Happy Blogging and see you all very soon.  Please feel free to leave me a message so that I know you have been.

Hettie

Hope knee surgery went well and I am with Hels - throw the scraps away... you will never ever finish the box - or alternatively give them to the local sure start centre - the kids love playing with bits and pieces. Love your stamp book. Thanks for Sharing and hope you have a happy WOYWW. Caroline (No 31 x)

Forgot to say, thanks for your lovely comments, and I shall try WD40 as another option, once I have removed the foam on the top of the adhesive.

Your surgery should have been done by now and you are now in the waking stage and then onto recovery. I am looking forward to seeing how you make that lovely book from scratch. Take care of yourself. #114

I really hope the knee op was a success and you aren't in too much pain and can actually sit and play for a while - otherwise having two weeks off to recover would be the pits!! LOL Love your little thimble rack, its too cute and made me laugh as I picked up a couple wee welsh dressers in Michaels on Tuesday on a whim and haven't a clue what I am going to do with them... but now i have seen yours maybe I will fancy them up and find a purpose for them!!

Hope your knee surgery went well. Don't forget that scrap boxes = treasure boxes. You never know what you will find... The "Boo" on your lamp is brilliant.

By now you should have the op well and truly sewn up (sorry about that - could not resist)so I hope you are feeling much better in yourself. Not sure how you are going to sit and craft if you have to keep your knee straight. Hope it is not too painful for you.

Love your desk - especially your BOO light and look forward to seeing how you do your stamp storage.

Thanks for the nose around my desk - and I am Pisces not Gemini (I swim in both directions?)

Take care - Hugs - Neet x
