Grungy Monday # 3

Good Evening Crafters

What a glorious day it has been here in the Brecon Beacons today.  I do hope it has been as nice for you wherever you are in Blogland!  Hubby and I have been having a closer look at some of the plants in the garden which we thought had perished in the cold winter that we have had, and quite a few of them have suddenly sprung into action over the last week, including a beautiful Clematis which to my knowledge has been growing up against the wall for 24+ years!  I am sooo happy it has survived as it really is beautiful when in full bloom.

Well, down to business of my posting.  I was having a bit of a play in my Craft Room with some of my colour washes including the piece I posted last night (click HERE if you want to have a peak).

Although last night's posting meets all the criteria for the Grungy Monday Challenge, I had previously decided that all my GM pieces would be tags so that they can go on my Wall of Tags (I will show you that once they start building up!).  So, I had to have another play with inkey washes, which I lurve!! (Don't need much of an excuse to play do I?!!! LOL!!)
If you want to see some more wonderful pieces of art which have been made using Adirondack Color Wash why don't you click HERE whereupon you will be whisked over by Fluepowder to our Leader Linda's blog where you can see some fantastic pieces of art, including a wonderful scarf which I am going to have to try to figure out how it was done!
If you click HERE you will be whisked over to our Lord Tim Holtz's wonderful blog where you will be able to link to Tim's blog, workshops, videos, products, gallery and videos.  A wonderful place for inspiration and ideas to make beautiful pieces of art.
While I am here, I just want to show you a fabby picture of my lovely little Dobby which Hubby took last night.  I tend to sit on our settee these days so that I can sit with my feet up (Doctor's orders!) with a Welsh wool blanket to keep my toes warm.  Dobby also tends to cwtch up with me on the settee.  However, last night Dobby sat at the bottom end of the settee where Hubby caught this photo.  Doesn't he look soooo sweet?!!!  Bless him!
Off to look at the other participants of  this week's Grungy Monday.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and please don't forget to leave me a comment so that I know that you have been.

This is a beautiful tag! So glad I came over to find it!
And the white ink I used that you asked about, is Adirondack pigment, snow cap. I think it's fab!!

This was a "love at first sight" tag for me, Hettie! You did a beautiful job with the Color Wash, and the masking is absolutely elegant. The sweet little bird looks right at home on her pretty flourish. Wonderful job!

Dobby is PRECOUS! What a little sweetheart.
