Happy Birthday Mum..

Hello there!!

I know I haven't been around too much recently, but with these lovely light evenings I am making the most of them!!  No self respecting weed will be showing their face for a while!!

I thought I should share the card I made for my Mum a few weeks ago...

The papers are all left overs from the Graphic 45 pad I used for Leslie's album.  I must get another pad as I like this one so much.

I even dug out some very VERY old birthday stickers.  No idea which century I bought those in!!  Some lace and pearls too.
I just love the little details in this pad...even the stamps were on a strip in the pad.

These little cards were on another sheet.  Just tucked behind the birdie is a strip of a new punch I bought recently. Of course I used a Snippet to make it!

I used Gathered Twigs DI to ink throughout .

Off to join in the fun and frolic at the Snippet Playground as this car consists entirely of Snippets!

Thanks for calling by.

Lovely card, Hettie. It's a great design and the blue tit image is beautiful. Graphic 45 papers are so gorgeous I find it so difficult to use them. Elizabeth xx

Now that is truly yummy! I could imagine me breaking my self imposed paper ban for those papers. Yep that pad is now going onto my wish list, just love that bird image too, hoping that is a stamp!
I think we've all been making the best of the daylight as we don't always get so many good days and early evenings in a row, we need to enjoy it when we get it Karen x

Love, love those papers too. There may well be a rush on them in the shops! . Hugs Mrs A.

Beautiful papers used here and beautiful card too. I love this paper pad too but so far have managed to avoid the shops. One store near me sells the individual sheets, so might break down and buy two or three of my faves!

Your design is so pretty...that crachet ribbon is perfect on this and the dusting ink is so soft and gives a timeless feel!

What a gorgeous card Sam! I love all the attention to detail on this beautiful card. The lacy is so pretty as are the stickers that you used. Graphic 45 paper is always stunning, but I have a hard time using it because it is so beautiful. lol Hugs, Brenda

What a fantastic card, Sam. I adore it and I bet your Mum did too. Those papers are lovely. I know what you mean about making the most of the light nights and the weather recently, although it's let itself down this week here. I was having a lovely time gardening last Saturday until my eye went funny and I ended up spending the rest of the weekend at the hospital....don't ask. A perforated something or other, too big a words for little ol me. Nothing too serious but I am struggling to see properly at the mo hence no blogging!!
Hope you are good.
Hugs Lisax

I'm glad you're making the most of the lighter evenings - it also means that my shameful lack of visiting has been repaid so far with three big belly laughs from the Friday Funnies catch up, and now this gorgeous card... absolutely beautiful work with the papers. If you're after some clearance G45 papers (I don't think they have this set), there are some at eclectic Paperie at the moment - 8x8 pads for about 5 dollars, which is just a couple of quid. You have to pay US postage, but even then they probably come in at a bargain... just thought I'd let you know. I've just been resisting them!
