Something I made earlier...

Hello there

Gosh 3 July already.  How did that happen?  I am sure this summer is trying to whizz past us in a hurry to winter again.  NOOOOooooooooo!  Let us enjoy the summer!

I was having a little rummage through my blog posts and I came across this post in draft and had never published so I thought I had better rectify the situation...

I made all these cards when my new Memory Box dies arrived.  I was sent a vulture for Christmas by a very kind crafty friend and by about May I decided it was about time I used them or else risk losing them.  So I bought the flower, border and top butterfly die (I already had the base butterfly die) and had a jolly old play with them using bits and pieces out of the Snippets drawers.
As you may gather from recent posts, I very much like these Memory Box dies.  In fact I have not seen a MB die I don't like!  Papers include Boofle and Crate Paper (I think).
We must have been short of sunshine at the time as I have left in the shadows through the window!  I normally like to keep the shadows off.
Some of these papers and embellies are VOS too.  Those sparkly spots are positively ancient!  And the Best Wishes stamps were free with something.  The Thank U is a SU stamp.

Well that is all from me Folks!  Thanks for calling by.  See you by the swings as I am popping over to the Snippets Playground as these were all made using Snippets, even the ribbons were from the basket.  Anything less than 1/2 yard go in the basket as they don't stay on the pegs very well.

Hugs

Hettie

These look very pretty.
I am with you on Memory Box dies...I love them too. They cut beautifully and release so nicely.

Your dies are very pretty and made up into some wonderful cards.

That floral strip so suits the wee diamonds and sparkly dots you added!

I love these cards, great colours and the flower die is fabulous, I have one that goes across the bottom but don't use it that often yours is easier to use me thinks.
Didn't realise that craft shops took vultures in exchange for goods, hope you managed to tame it, well if I didn't say Miss Di would lol.

Gorgeous cards Hettie, I'm a big MB die fan too. (In fact seeing your cards you've given me an idea for an anniversary card I need to make. Going to colour chloe stem metal diecuts with gold alcohol ink)Thanks for the inspiration, Cathy x

Hi Sam

These are fabulous! I finally broke down and bought the Chloe die recently :) LOVE how you combined a selection of dies so beautifully - clever girl!

'Ere - keep them vultures outta the Playground! Kath's on look out duty like a meerkat - stood standing on top of the slide :)

I love these, especially the way you have used the same dies but made each one quite different.
I have the bigger version of that butterfly die, agonised for ages over buying both top & bottom layers, and I use them all the time lol!!

I haven't met a MB Die that I didn't like either! LOL, I'd have em all if my wallet was thicker! Love this flower border! So pretty with the other flower and butterfly!

Well, you can probably guess that I love these - the meadow flowers are so cute tied in little bundles, and I love all the colour variations. I love the MB dies too - have quite the little collection but they only seem to come out to play once in a blue moon! Must change that...
