Snippets.... It started with a stamp.....

Hello there Peeps

Here I am again with some Snippets which I have turned into cards with a little jiggerypokery!  ready for the rollcall with the lovely Di!

It all started with a set of Penny Black stamps which I bought from Craft Obsessions (12 Days of Christmas).  I blame Sandra for my buying them as she kindly sent me a couple of stamped images and when I saw the stamp set for sale I just knew I had to buy them!!  That is MY excuse and I am sticking to it!!!

As some of you are aware I go Scottish Dancing, which I have done for a very very long time.  I do most forms of Scottish Dancing including Country, National and Highland.  For many years I have danced my Highland dances to a wonderful Piper Terry.  However, last year whilst piping in France for the anniversary of Dunkirk he was taken ill and needed to be brought home for some major heart surgery and so this year on Burn's Night I will not be dancing to Terry's playing.  When I saw this stamp I knew I had to make a card for Terry and hopefully this will raise a smile!

Well, you know me.  I cannot just make one!  So I decided to make one for the lovely Johan, my Dancing Teacher!!

Oops!  And then another for our friends in Scotland for Burn's Night!
Oh!  Then another just for the hell of it!!  I am sure I will think of someone to send this to!!

Who would have thought that with just a little bit of scrap tartan paper, cardstock and a stamp I would have ended up with four cards and hopefully four smiles.  Even the watercolour paper on which I have stamped the images were scraps as I don't throw anything away when I cut out images for other projects!!    All images were coloured using Copic pens.

Don't forget to pop over to Di's blog so that you can see what other great cards are created using Snippets!!

It's a good job I have broad shoulders . . . I seem to get a lot of blame for other people's shocking crafty spend ups for some reason!!!! LOL!

Well, Sam, what can I say . . . they are all totally delightful Snippet Makes and will def raise a few smiles. You've certainly nailed the snippet challenge this week!

Brilliant Sam and very funny. I think we might be heading for trouble with this new custodian of the Snippet Playground, she's already labelled me as a rebel, threatened me with detention and now she's called you trouble!! Bring back Jules, lol!
