WOYWW 123 - Missing In Action

Hello there Peeps

I have been a Bad Blogger - Very Bad Blogger (think Harry Potter chastising a certain Dobby voice!).

Unfortunately, things are not running smoothly in the Hettiecraft Household with various things and unfortunately my blogging has suffered as a consequence.  I promise I will do my utmost to rectify my slack blogging of late!

However, as my header suggests, I have not totally abandoned my room, it is just that I don't seem to be able to be in here as often as I would like (or ought!).  I do hope I will be forgiven.  However, today is Wednesday and I could not let the day go by without joining in the WOYWW with the lovely Julia.  I am sure that you all know what this is about so without further ado here is my desk......

Yep.  It is quite honestly a big mess.  I must have about 10 projects underway all at the same time.  It is quite honestly a case of what I need to do soonest gets turfed out and worked on otherwise it is a case of whatever is on top gets done!

Mr Monkey is heading operations and I am sure there must be some Peanut Butter M&Ms in the bottom of that tin as he seems to have his little hand in there!  (If you haven't tried Peanut Butter M&Ms you must.  However, I can only find them in the US so anyone going, please bring me some back!)  I am sure he thinks I can see him doing it but I know you know!

I can also show you a lickle project which I finished on Sunday night....

Hubby decided that it should be a "purple grungy gothie teenage girl" thing!  I hope you think it matches what he suggested.  I cannot do real goth but hopefully someone will buy it when I have my stall at the Christmas Craft Fair at our local Church for the Cancer Charity.  I also hope I can make enough stuff before then to sell too!

Well, off to have a look at some other desks now and then watch "Who Do You Think You Are" and then another few desks before I hit the Pit (aka bed!).    Don't forget to click HERE and you can go bloghopping too!

Please leave me a comment as they mean so much to me.

See ya soon.

Hettie

I have been a bad blogger to, but my problem this time is down to the network card on the PC having died and it will not allow me to log on to the internet at all. However, the PC is off to the computer hospital again, and the broadband modem is now hooked up to the laptop. I know what you mean by all those projects on the go in one lot. It does get confusing at the very least. Love those finished items, I am sure they will be much appreciated.

Oh, I think peanut butter M and Ms could be my downfall if they were available in the UK! Probably just as well they aren't! I can go with the purple gothic thing, you don't have to be a teen to appreciate it :) Hope it goes well at the craft fair!
Hugs, LLJ xx

Hi Sam, sometimes life just gets in the way of crafting doesnt it - dont worry you will get in there and get creative again soon. Love the purple book - I too always have about 10 projects on the go I seem to run out of time on them and when I go back to the desk I have the urge to start something new - oh well such is life! Have a fab week.

I noticed things were a little quiet but was too rushed myself, to make enquiries! I thought Wednesday nights were dance night, do you still get the picnic tea even if you don't go? Take care

Tee, hee - can you see the wood for the trees? Of course you can, it's YOUR desk and we always work in a pickle but can sort of find what we want. The broken bars on the bird cage really made me tingle, along with the sentiment - really clever and all your work is so beautiful. Di xx

Oh my! I think your space is rivaling mine! LOL! but I do love your journal. Good luck with your fair. Mine is in 3 weeks for the Red Cross; taking Monday and Tues. off to seriously get stuff made! Oh, and yes, they are turkeys..this morning I had 8 crossing my driveway. I have a small SUV, and the "leader" was staring at me through the window! Tall cheeky ...bird! LOL!

Hi there Sam and "monkey eating peanut butter M and m's" - mmm, dont think I will see if we (do or dont) have them here- totally trying to stay out of that aisle in supermarket - trying desperately to put blinkers on with all the stuff in shops- as Christmas is coming and we all know what that means - be good before or else! love hubby ideas on journal and think you pulled it off happy WOYWW! Hi Sam, hope all the domestic tribulations are now sorted and you can get back into your craft room for some serious crafting for that charity fair. Love the journal cover, definitely looks like gothie, grungy teenager to me. Hope you have a great weekend. Elizabeth x #53
