Telephone Survey -Result, Interesting ..

Last month, a world-wide telephone survey was conducted by the UN.

The only question asked was:-

"Would you please give your honest opinion about possible solutions to the food shortage in the rest of the world?"

*The survey was a complete failure because:*

In Eastern Europe they didn't know what "honest" meant.

In Western Europe they didn't know what "shortage" meant.

In Africa they didn't know what "food" meant.

In China they didn't know what "opinion" meant.

In the Middle East they didn't know what "solution" meant.

In South America they didn't know what "please" meant.

In the USA they didn't know what "the rest of the world" meant.

And in Australia, New Zealand and Britain everyone hung up as soon as they heard the Indian accent.

I have NO idea where you find these, but this one had me laughing at "food." And although I don't live in the UK, etc., I'd probably hang up, too!

Very true to life! It takes the USA a long time to realize we need to just STAY HOME and quit sacrificing our people for other peoples problems.
I really like the WARNING you have on the right side The last person that touched my scrapbooking supplies is in my backyard ! Have a fun weekend.

Oh dear, guilty as charged. I frequently hang up at the Indian voices on the phone, usually because I can't understand a word they are saying.
But very funny anyway.
Bless you
Chris

Hi Hettie....well you've made me laugh out loud (LOL) here on a Tuesday - being an Aussie I so understand the 'hang up bit' - just two minutes ago I had our second phone call for the day from the same company...people with accents saying they're calling from Melbourne etc etc...and I do so try to decline them kindly BUT there is a limit. Cheers and have a wonderful week Robyn
