Friday Funny

In the hospital the relatives gathered in the waiting room, where their family member lay gravely ill.

Finally, the doctor came in, looking tired and somber.

'I'm afraid, I'm the bearer of bad news,' he told the assembled relatives.

'The only hope for your loved one at this time is a brain transplant'

'It is however an experimental procedure and carries a high risk but it is the only hope.  Insurance will not cover the operation and should you wish to proceed, you will need to pay for the brain yourselves'

The family members all sat in shocked silence as they absorbed the news and then finally after a great length of time someone asked, 'well, how much does a brain cost?'

The doctor replied, '£5000.00 for a male brain and £200.00 for a female brain'

The moment turned awkward.  The men in the room, tried hard not to smile and, heads down tried to avoid all eye contact with the women, but some actually smirked.  One of the men, unable to contain himself, blurted out the question everyone wanted to ask: 'Why is the male brain so much more?'

The doctor smiled at the childish innocence and explained to the group: 'It's just standard pricing procedure.  We have to mark down the price of a female brain, because they have actually been used!!

Joining in with Annie for the Friday Smiles!!!  Have a great weekend everyone.

Well I didn't see that one coming or going!!. Just checking to see if your up for being a Shepherd in the forthcoming production. You get to wear your thermals under your sheet and ear muffs under the tea towel if the weather turns a bit nippy like. Can we also commodore Miss Di and Mrs A for props in the stable please. Thanks in advance
