Father's Day...

Hello Peeps

I have been a little lapse on my blog this week due to one reason and another but I just wanted to show you my Father's Day cards before the week was out.....

Here is the one I made for my Daddy....

A simple one using my SU stamps that I had a little while ago, with a heart on.  The card was cut from some K&Co card that I have had forever and the blue cardstock was found lurking in my Snippets box.  I stamped the boat on some SU Very Vanilla cardstock and cut it out with my Spellbinders die.  I used Ranger's Archival inks for the stampings.  A little button out of my button pot and some twine which I bought from The Funkie Junkie and hey presto Dad's card was made.   I shall take this round to the Playground before the gates are shut!

And this card was made for Mr Hettie from Dobby and my Feathered Friends!  It came in a kit which my friend bought for me for Christmas.  She knows I am a big fan of Boofle.  I could not resist the sunglasses which I used glossy accents.  All the buttons were also glossy accented and the flowers were stickled.  Boofle was decoupaged using silicone.  I am not sure if you have realised but I don't do decoupage.  Hate it!!  Mr Hettie loved the card though so that is all that matters!

I hope you all have a good weekend!

Hugs

Hettie

I love your masculine card. The ship is a fabulous stamp. My boys would love it. They are into anything that looks like a pirate ship.

Two great Father's Day cards Sam. I have the SU sailing set too, it's one of my fav's.

Boofle is very cute and perfect as l know how much you love him. I don't do decoupage either if l can help it, it's not my thing.

Have a great weekend, I hope next week brings you happier times.

Hugs xx

Both are great but I do love the first one, have to admit I'm not a fan of bears - but he is a cutie and I bet he'll be cherished Karen x

Great cards - especially love the beautiful ship image - nothing like a ship with full rigging! Very stylish design too.

Two lovely cards. I love that sailing ship. Really liked the way you showcased it on this card. Now your doggie was just as cute as can be. So much texture. I can see why Mr. H loved it, so did I. TFS, and also many thanks for your well wishes to DH & me on the 50th. Hugs.
