Happy Rudolph Day Everyone

Yep!  You saw the title correctly - Happy Rudolph Day to you all.

Those of you who find themselves occasionally on my blog will know that every 25th of the month throughout the year is known as Rudolph Day.  On this day myself and some other crafters (nutters) make a Christmas card (or two) and we link them up with my friend Sandra of Stamping for Pleasure, just for the fun of it!

So here is mine....

And in keeping with most of my cards, it is a Snippets card, which we link up with the keeper of the Playground keys, Di.  I know I usually try to keep my Snippets features for Friday, it is an awfully long time to Friday this week.

The card has used papers from the DCWV papers which I bought absolutely ages ago.  Tag was cut using the Tim Holtz die.  Gold vellum and some Ikea packaging for the corrugated card.  Twine tied around and finished off with a button from the bucket.  Various fluff tied at the top and mounted on to a card which has another piece of DCWV paper and stamping with Red Barn DI and Perfect Pearls.  Add the stamped image which is a freebie stamp from Craft Stamper, four pearls and hey presto card done.  Hope you like it and feel free to join us with Rudoph Day and make some cards nice and early (don't worry about the fact that it is soooo sunny outside and totally not like Christmas is around the corner!) - you still have a few days left.

I shall be back in the next couple of days with my Rudolph offerings. But I had to say, we remember oyster shells, but not when we last saw them. We have had about 10 years without an ice cream van until new people moved into a house round the corner. They had children, and immediately found an ice cream van and got him to come up our road again. We now have a lot of young children in the road again so he gets a lot of trade, especially when we have a get together on the grassy island in front of our houses. You will have to find the number to call someone to come up your road again. Good luck with that. xx Maggie
