Hello Friends
Whoosh! Did you hear that? It was the sound of the weekend flying past! This weekend has gone very quick and very busy. Back to work tomorrow but it is a short week for me as I have a few days off. I have a very special Blogging Friend coming to visit. Also, I am hoping I may get a crafting day in, just for some relaxation!
You will recall the other day I told you I found some photos of projects which I have not posted. These were another two pics I came across.....
I made these Thank You cards just after my Birthday. Glad I wasn't as tardy in actually sending them. I made a few all in the same style using my new SU embossing folder which a Special Friend sent to me. I have used it on other projects, but these were the first. The cards VOS were more out of that kit which I find difficult to use, but determined to use them I am. All the cardstock used on this were from my Snippets box so I shall be sharing these with the Snippets Playground.
Have a good week everyone.
Hettie

Lovely! The butterflies are beautiful set off by the white embossed paper! Both color schemes are fabulous.
I like how you have cut the embossing folder differently on them. Like the pink the most but also like the blue the most too!! Hugs Mrs A.
p.s Did you see in the paper that 2 chooks had specially made jackets for them cos they wos cold with no feathers?
Cant believe her visit has arrived already, seemed like ages ago that you said you guys were planning it! Love the two cards.
Beautiful cards-those butterflies are gorgeous :)
Why is it that the weekends just fly by soooo fst but the weekdays they never do ?
Have a great week,Nessa xx
Two fabby makes Sam - and I do love how you trimmed round those hexagons, one of my fave ways to use that lovely folder too.
Are the two chooks Mrs A is referring to called Miss Di and Mrs A huh? If so, I want a little fur collar on my jacket please :)
Have a good week - the weekend will come by again soon enough!
Hugs, Di xx

What pretty butterflies and I love the way you've trimmed up the embossing!
Beautiful butterflies and I love the embossing folder and those yummy papers x
Lovely cards Sam, clever you and both in different colours :D The hexagon EF is great, I can imagine it will be so useful :D Have a lovely week Gay x
These are fabulous, love the rich colours but I also have to confess and quite a lot of bloggers know this but I am not a fan of butterflies on cards, BUT these are the best I have seen, I think it is the rich colours and the patterns on them.
Thanks for your comment on my LIM card.

Both are lovely, but I gravitate to the blue. Really liked the extra detail of your EF trimming to highlight the hexagons, and your butterfly was spectacular! TFS & yes, you can enjoy coffee on the deck with me anytime you care to visit! We'll meet you there. It's very peaceful & quiet - except when motorboats go by. TFS
The weekend certainly flew by, Sam, this amazing weather is fantastic though isn't it. Love your butterfly cards. I have this stamp but it doesn't get inked up enough, must rectify that. Enjoy your crafty break.
Hugs Lisax
Two terrific cards, Sam. The butterflies are stunning and I love the embellishment cluster. Elizabeth xx
Apologies for being soooo behind - as you know, I've got quite a lot on!!
I love these, with that clean white honeycomb giving such a sharp modern edge to two delightful cards.
