Jumping for joy.....House Mouse

Hello Friends

Happy Weekend to y'all in whatever you are up to.  I shall be hard at the windows again.  Feel free to join in to help me out. Pleeeeeeeease!

Our friends over at the House Mouse & Friends Challenge have asked to add some schparkle.  A friend of mine asked me if I could make her a card for a sewing friend and I remembered a set of stamps I bought at Ally Pally that were crying out to be used so out it came.  I think this little fella is jumping for joy that he has been stamped!!

The image was stamped with Momento and coloured in with Copics. Each pin head has been stickled with corresponding spots on the Snippet of ribbon.
The background paper is some Boofle paper and the pale green is the last Snippety piece that was in one of the first layouts I ever did at a workshop!  The purple ribbons came out of my Snippets ribbon basket too.
This lickle mouse is soo tired.  I had better look in my thimbles to see if there are any House Mouses in them!

Thanks for calling by.  Have a great weekend whatever you are doing.  I shall be popping over to the Playground to see how the water pistol practice firing is going!

Hugs

Hettie

ah Sam how I lo-o-ove house mouse but now sometimes fe-eel so guilty cos one half died in trap recently (courtesy of our neighbours who are lazy at leaving rubbish around in bags) .. and the trap was not a good one so we had to do the dispatch at 2am.. not happy all around sigh!
.. sorry for sharing such sad tale but love these little fellows have not yet brought myself to make a card with them since then, but must break the mould and use them so they can jump with joy too :D

They really are jumping for joy...Adorable image and great card...
Getting close now. We return home in a week and then a mad dash to get everything weeded, lawns mowed and edges trimmed before we leave...after all that we should be able to sleep on the plane! lol

Aw Sam - this is totally adorable! Just look at that wee mouse using the pincushion as a trampoline :) Aaaaargh, forget I said trampoline - please!

So sorry about the mix-up and you being locked out of the Playground in your PJ's. Hope you manage to link before noon as the Playground is open again now - if you don't manage then I'll link you in!

Forgot to say, your sleepwear says 'Born to Shop' :) And yes, I'm ancient enough to have done Latin at school - I have painful memories of reciting amo, amas, amat, amamus, amatis, amant - sigh.

Just popped back to say there is always room in the bunkie for company! It is 8 x 10 and has a futon type double bed with single bed bunkbed above.
DH has plans for that bunkie next summer. We are going to ditch the futon bunk bed and change to a queen size bed with single loft bed above one end. There will be a flat wall mounted TV with DVD player built in. Hopefully there will be room for a slim dresser and we will implement a teensy fridge for an end table...It will have a tray with a kettle, teapot, cofee pot and mugs...teeheee just like a motel! We get a lot of company up here and most stay in the bunkie...Some rent the rooms above the adult clubhouse that you saw were we do the crafts on Tuesdays...you can get a queen bed, closet, hangers, ensuite, coffee pot and mugs for just under 50 bucks! You have to bring your own linens and pillows but usually I have all that here to loan out to my guests.

See, when you come to Canada, you will have plenty of reasonable options if you are interested in any of these type of thing.

Up here you can go rafting on the Adams River...do Segway Tours, Mountain Climb, Dragon boat race, rent kayaks, canoes or boats...or just go out on ours!

Off to write up a post on the Indian Nation Pow Wow we attended today...hopefully my pictures turn out!!!

Hi Hettie

Awww... this is brilliant. I love how you have matched the pin heads and the ribbon together.

A lovely fun image.

In answer to your question .. .. yes you can get changed in the pink beach hut. The lads are in the green one so stay clear of that one!!!

Hope you are having a lovely weekend.

Love Jules xx

You've used 2 of my fav elements...House Mouse(s) and sewing tools. This one is just so adorable, you colored it so well, and was that spica glitter on the pin heads? I bet this was from the Ally Paly trip where the soap dispenser caper took place, hmmmm?
Watch out for the water pistol...well, at least it'd cool off things. TFS
