How Small Can I Go? Twinchie

Hello Friends

The lovely Peeps over at Show Us your Twinchies are asking for Flowers this month.  Well, regulars to my blog will know that I have been dabbling with painting Sheena Douglass style lately so without further ado.....

Yep.  A Mini painting of Daisies.  My friend wants this as a brooch so I am trying to figure out how to turn this into one for her, maybe using UTEE?  Any ideas I would be grateful.

Thanks for calling by.

Hettie

Oh cute, cute, cute - brilliant painting, so yes - definitely needs protecting if you're going to turn it into a brooch (which would be lovely). UTEE or maybe Glossy Accents. Rock Candy Crackle would probably be a step too far since you've already got the gorgeous painty crackle...

Beautiful!! I would use glossy accents to fix a brooch fastening on the back, and probably that rather than utee on the front, though I guess utee would be ok too.... (dither, dither!)

Wow Sam you're doing so well with the paint fusions . . . this is SUCH a lovely Twinchie.

Good idea to turn it into a brooch, but I've no helpful ideas I'm afraid. I'm sure the advice given above by others is good!

Ha Ha now you are just showing off, Hettie, this is great. It'll make a lovely brooch. How about embossing the edges with metallic embossing powder before adding the gloss got a bit of bling!!

Wow, this is absolutely beautiful! Sorry I have not been around lately. And see what I am missing!! That'll teach me! How amazing you can paint such a beautiful image by hand and so small too! I am afraid I don't know about turning it into a brooch but it will indeed make a lovely one!
Thanks for visiting my blog!!

Very cute! I would say Diamond Glaze or Glossy Accents...I've found UTEE sometimes cracks and falls off. Oh, or Judikins Micro Glaze, Tim uses it to waterproof stuff.

This will look stunning as a brooch.
Quite in awe of the painting skills alone but to consider this painting is on such a small scale - watch as I bow down to you!
Beautiful.

A fabulous little painting.
I would avoid UTEE, as you might find it makes the card bend, and it does tend to go yellow. Envirotex lite or glossy accents would be my choice.

I'm in complete idiot mode this morning and accidentally deleted your comment on my blog, please could you do another one. In the meantime I'll try and find my brain

This is sooo pretty, no wonder your friend wants it as a brooch. Great job with the painting on such a small canvas. xx
