Friday Smiles

Hello

I had a smiley moment this week that I wanted to share with you instead of my Friday Funny....

I recently bought a new birdie feeder to go outside the kitchen window as the old one had broken earlier this year.  As a result we are getting visitors and this particular one kept pecking at the window.  When I grabbed the phone he did not fly away and let me take his picture.

Off to share this with my mate Annie for Friday Smiles as this little one certainly made me smile!!

  8. Hi Sam,
    well that is soooooooooo! cute.
Some of these birds seem so tame.
Some Blackbirds never get frightened away when I am hanging out washing, and it's so cute to see the male one watching out for the female while she ground feeds.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

  9. Oh how cute, maybe he was telling you that the feeder was empty. When I get a bird at my craft room window it is usually 'cod it has flow into it and then loses a couple of feathers but fly's away still alive.

  10. Happy Friday Hettie, oh he's the cutest, your new bird feeder is working well then...I too love to see our feathered friends in the garden and we did enjoy listening to the native ones on our camp trip. Have a lovely weekend Cheers Robyn

  11. He's a charmer, and how delightful he let you snap his picture. Sometimes we will see these little fellas perch on the window ledge outside, and it's as though they are peering into the house to see what we're up to. I am never sure if they 'see' us or perhaps detect motion of movement, but they stay put as long as we don't move. TFS your feathered friend with us. Hugs & have a wonderful weekend.

  12. Isn't he cute? I love the way they become so tame when you feed them. Great photo too. Sadly I have too many cats go encourage the birds. Kate xx

  14. So cute!! And a great capture too. Having spent yesterday with my camera and some birds I've discovered I am more than a little bit slower than my feathered friends!!
