Wallhanging for a Special Friend...

Hello Friends

What a beautiful day Saturday has been.  I am hoping Sunday will be the same.  I am up a bit late as I have been working on Wednesday's dancing class preparations and it has taken a while and I needed some time out.

Last month it was the birthday of someone very schpecial to me and I made here a lickle wallhanging using my latest style of painting - Paint Fusion with Sheena Douglass.  Here is the whole thing....

And the reverse side....
A lickle close up....
The flower shapes were cut using a Nesties die.

And now the front....

All painted with Pebeo paints on a background which has been inked with DIs and stamped with TH stamps.  The purple ribbon is VOS and as I have said before is a special favourite of mine so I tend to only use it on special projects.  Of course, some of the cardstock I used came out of the Snippets box so I shall be taking this down to the Pixies Snippets Playground.  Well, it was for the Snippets Queen!!

Thanks for popping by and enjoy the rest of your weekend.

  9. Absolutely beautiful, front and back. The fuchsias are stunningly lovely - the painting of them is so fab... and there's something so perfect about the austere simplicity of the thistles. Gorgeous creation. Hope you had the same glorious sunshine today as we did!
