Sweet Poppy Stencil...

Hello Friends

At the end of each month (haa haa) I try to save all my photos to an external hard drive in order to keep them all nice and safe in the event of something happening to my puter.  There speaks the bitter voice of experience let me tell you.

Well I have to confess that I had not done it for a few months so had to spend last Saturday morning viewing, saving and transferring.  Out came the ipod and I got on with the task in hand and came across a few pictures of projects which I have made but not shared with you.  This is one of them......

Yep, my Sweet Poppy Stencil being used to make a butterfly card.  This must be an early easel card as when I started these I soon realised that I had put the "easel bit" too far back on the bottom flap.  The pinkey cardstock is some of the remnants of my Vietnam scrapbook too, but matched this card perfick!

I used all Martha Stewart glitter and VOS brads - I hate to think how old they are!

I am just going to don my wellies and souwester and take this to the Snippets Playground.  No doubt the ducks in the pond are having fun today!

Thanks for calling by.

Hettie

  4. Delightful glittery butterfly tree. Loved reading that you did with a stencil. Turned out so pretty. I'm liking your early easel card as well. One of these days, I'll get brave enough to try one of those folds. Thanks for the tip about the ATG wax paper leftovers. I do have the ATG...& I've saved a lot of the 'waxy papers' - never having an idea as to what they could be used for. Now I can try that! The metal shim works pretty well too, on many things - IF I remember to use it! TFS & Hugs
